taken to the Sifter Station. In left foreground a
group of red and blue flags on thin wires, record
status of cavities being entered into field
logs, or further excavated and profiled.
Behind, and for scale, is a surveyors field
transit, the legs of which are made from kitchen
toothpicks, and the instrument barrel for which
is a cut-down wire brad about ¾ in. long
