The view at right is an in-field photograph of the N end of the footer wall, showing an E/W run of unexcavated Units (5 ft. squares) still in place.  The midmost Unit is seen under excavation as the last one, in the view of the model at left.  The opening in the background in both views is the entry to the East Trench Extension.   Visible also in both shots is the backhoe trench scar which roughly parallels the footer wall behind it.
